alltherezechaj: "I've seen guys pace 13 miles in around mid 6ish minutes at the collegiate level on their off days" lol...I agree man. 21km in 6 min is not bad at all for an "off day"

When I was a distance runner, I ran 5k's (3.1 miles) in under 17 minutes, a 24 minute 4 mile was cake. The fastest marathon is just over 2 hours. Thats under 5 minutes a mile for over 26 miles. Yea, it's pretty easy to run a 24 minute 4 mile.

I currently still run alot and find that I average on training runs just under 7 minute miles which means if I really pushed myself i could easily do 6 min miles. when I was younger I used to run 5:40 miles regularly. I still am doing 5km (3.2 miles) in 20 minutes and Im 35 yrs old.

A 6 minute mile is fast but it's not impossible. I ran my mile and a half for my military PT test in 9 minutes. Again, not impossible. Just because the people you know or who you hang with are incapable of performing this doesn't mean that an elite athlete like Bruce Lee is as well. Devote the time and effort into fitness as he did, then you'll understand why he makes people question his true abilities like you just did.

I used to run 10k (6.2 miles) at 38 mins without huge training just natural talent. Its not that fast, esp for a 130lb person in great shape.
