I practice intermittent fasting and with only 2 meals from 5-8 PM I find natural peanut butter every day, maybe 4-5 TBS helps tremendously! Is this acceptable? I have alpha gal and cannot eat beef or pork so enjoying this lifestyle gets tough sometimes

I would love to try this but I'm confused with the serving of avocado. Is it 1/4 cup or just 1/4 peace of an avocado?

I really wish these Bodybuilding.com Meal Plan articles would include the calorie count and macros. I always have to tally everything up manually. Just sorta seems like a common sense thing to include in a fitness related diet plan, but hey what do I know :P

I love avocados but they make me sick with a terrible upset stomach. They are typically an essential ingredient in all keto diets. Is there a good alternative?

My husband and I are going to try keto for a couple months. I have also been told to do a refeed once a week. We were told that doesn’t mean a “cheat day”. It should just mean add oats, Brown rice or pasta. So carbs lower on the glycemic level. Is that right?? Thanks!

Thank you for this article! I would like to know what the 'normal' range of Ketone (blood test) results look like after 1 and 2 weeks on the strict Keto Diet. (night time versus morning and evening time...) Also, are Carnitine and Glutamine good to take while adapting ? When is it ok to start working out again (endurance and/or strength training) ? Thank you in advance for your time and help!

Thanks for clearing the mud on all the so called correct keto plans. I have found that no one agrees on the types of nuts and correct electrolytes. One thing you failed to mention is that jerkies contain sugar, read the ingredients. Dukes brand does not contain sugar. And always keep a bag of pork rinds in your car for those cravings when you see fast food, works every time. Thanks again.

I've seen elsewhere it suggested that when using keto specifically to try and reduce body fat, that having a cheat day with carbs is useful for that process. The argument being that it helps reset the weight reduction process, rather than letting your body get too used to it, at which point the fat loss would slow down. Thoughts?
