Used in China? Just to clarify Ricky....It was never used in China as an athletic supplement. Though Im sure some have tried. It is highly respected as a medicinal herb for infertility, Libido and joint issues and a few others. But never taken as just one herb alone. If administered properly it will be in a formula with other herbs to target a specific disease or imbalance. IM a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Herbalist, I rarely use this herb in my practice since there are far more ways to approach healing and balance for Libido, infertility etc. Hope this helps. And yes.....its all hype and marketing. It reminds me of the herb Horney Goat weed for Libido. If you took that herb by itself it would more than likely have the opposite affect one is looking for. If taking in a formula the results are spot on. Cheers
