I have read some of Timothy Ferris's 4- hour body...yes I know...lame. But it was good research. He has a study in his book about a cheat day and how it can actually help your metabolism. Not sure if it will help but it was interesting.

the explination of why cheat meals work is pretty simple. When you are in a caloric deficit your body does not know whether you are dieting or are truly starving so it slows down your metabolism to keep you from starving. Cheat meals are a form of overeating simply put. When you are on a diet if you greatly increase your calories for a meal your body will stop thinking it is being starved and go back to trying to maintain a normal metabolism.
