I couldn't agree more. I learned this when I joined the Navy and went through bootcamp. Before I went through bootcamp I weighed 155 and I drank a weightgainer immediately after working out and right before going to bed. I took creatine and I counted calories and everything. I noticed no difference and over the period of 3 months I gained maybe 3 pounds. which was really discouraging. In bootcamp, they gave us 3 meals a day, that's it. No supplements and no snacks in between meals. I ate a TON, and ended up putting on 15 pounds in those 8 weeks. All this micromanaging of supplements and meals just makes everything more complicated and discourages people that have a hard time gaining weight, like myself I'd like it all to just be a lot simpler as it should be portrayed.
