This article doesn't explicitly advocate anything. It's an analysis of how various molecules are metabolized and converted by the human body. If anything, it advocates not assuming that particular diet labels such as "low-carb" are necessarily going to work, because as stated in the article: "The type, timing, and combination with other nutrients is what matters, absolutely." I think this is actually the main point here.
