He may say that, but there is zero relevance to nutrient timing. You don't need protein pre-workout, you don't need it post workout, you don't need it before bed, you don't need it first thing when you get up in the morning. Just meet your macro throughout the day. You aren't going to go catabolic unless you don't eat any protein for nearly 24 hours. Use the pwo before you workout on an empty stomach. Use protein powder (aka powdered food) anytime during the day if you need it to meet your macro.

The answer to your question ohs0fast is that you don't need to combine them, so stop worrying about doing so. Use pwo before workout. Use protein powder whenever (timing isn't relevant) during the day to meet your macro if you need it. If not, you don't need to supplement powdered food. BBlifestyleFTW, I'd love you to point out where I am stupid and why? Please also provide scholarly information to prove my stupidity. I won't hold my breath.

lucia lets say you have 1 meal a day, your body wont be able to use most of it, its better to splitt it into 6 meals, and the thing about it isnt important when you take your meals is bs, its proven that you need some fast digestive protein after workouts, and taking casein protein before bed is great since thats when your body (when you sleep) repairs the muscle you've broken down
