This is not true, and therefore you missed the point of the article which is that the fat in the breakfast is important. If you were to say have a large chicken breast for breakfast and maybe some tossed spinach salad, your body will take excess protein and convert it to glucose and spike your insulin and this would end up mimicking a high carbohydrate breakfast. The body has the two main sources of fuel being fat and carbs and by giving your body more fat to use to start the day it puts your body in a more "fat burning/utilizing" mode the rest of the day.
