Story says he was already lifting. He stopped and got fat due to injury. It seems reasonable that he could burn the fat off in 1 year with the right diet.

I agree with Heanson. He had some bulk/ muscle mass to begin with but during his 12week transformation got totally shredded. Amazing work. Tough to shred to that degree while maintaining mass. Props to Halid. Amazing transformation. Inspirational

It's totally possible, I'm kinda in the same boat right now coming back from an injury, I chunked up a little bit as I didn't maintain a great diet and I lost muscle. come see what I look like 11 weeks from now. week one's already in the books.. It's amazing how quickly muscle memory builds everything right back and then some.
