I agree with creed2981. unless you're very short of have very short legs, full out sprinting on a treadmill is not only dangerous, but ineffective. I'm 6' tall, and even when I max out the speed on the treadmill, i don't feel as if I'm running my absolute MAX speed and resistance (which is the main point of HIIT). Use the stationary bike, it works awesome.
