I don't know what YoungEx20 is talking about. The BEST way to loose fat IS by building muscle. Obviously you would want to customize your nutrition based on your needs and goals, for someone wanting to loose fat and gain muscle I would suggest Kris Gethin's 12 week trainer.

Recomp is possible, but hard as hell, so no it isn't the best way to lose fat. I would not suggest anything by Kris Gethin or most plans on bb.com
