The problem with Having the 45lbs plates any higher than the bottom rack is people can drop them when pulling them off. It sounds like a good idea especially for someone strong enough but after working in a gym for a few years you learn how Stupid people can be. I know if we tried this 4 people would hurt themselves in the first week. BUT I would consider doing this in my garage weight room.
