3 months? you must have been already half way there or you are genetically perfect. Will power is something that does not take overnight for most people to achieve.

Whatever works for you. That said, I think you're missing the point. Author is essentially preaching a virtue : patience, perseverance, resilience, consistency. These are things not just vital to nutrition and weights but life in general. That is why I love this site because there are a lot of life lessons to apply in other areas as well. Yes, you may have achieved a transformation in 3 months -- good for you -- but it is missing the point. And as others have mentioned, not so many other people may not be as genetically blessed. Also, I'm curious. Not that I'm skeptical of you, but it says you are currently at 129lbs with 23% BF ??

Srloielo, I already had an athletic background and just ceased working out/playing sports, so I got out of shape. I think this greatly helped me in getting into the rhythm of things again. alejandroPH, I wish I had made this a bit more clear in my original post, and I apologize. I am currently *not* in the shape I want to be in. I got out of the shape I had in those years I mentioned and had yo-yoed a bit over the past few years. I'm now more determined than ever to maintain the best shape I can regardless of a hectic desk job, school work, bad social pressure, etc.

well, 12 weeks is great if you're already skinny. I'm going to need 110 weeks to get into competition shape.
